#13: Student Spotlight: How this New A/E/C Marketer Increased her Firm’s Win Rate in Less Than a Year with Lindsey Robertson, APR

Let’s be honest, you gain more confidence as you gain more experience. And, if we’re being really honest, you might believe that you need years of experience to get there. To be that go-to proposal manager or leader in your firm.

Well, I am excited to share a story of an A/E/C marketer who really gained her confidence and really stepped into her feelings of being a proposal expert in only ONE YEAR. Really less than a year.

Yes, it took hard work, some learning, and having the courage to implement the lessons she learned, but she is there. Now, she is teaching some of the lessons she learned in the Proposal Pro Course to other firm leaders who are new marketing. Talk about the student becoming the teacher!

And, she also lets it slip in that her firm’s win rate increased during this time too. So not only has she grown personally since going through the course, her firm is benefitting too. She is proving that investing yourself, benefits not only you personally but for your firm too.

Maybe you have been in the industry for a few years, or already feel pretty confident in your proposal abilities. You think you know the basic proposal management principles and most of the tasks you should be doing.
